The Psychologists
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
— Viktor E. Frankl

Daniela van Mourik was born in Transylvania, Romania, and is the founder of Mental Hygiene Institute. Daniela creates a supportive, compassionate, warm, and safe environment, guiding clients toward achieving the truest and highest expression of themselves.
More than 25 years ago at university, Daniela began her journey into psychology, and her passion for the field remains strong. This was followed by a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology and extensive professional training that continues to this day. She uses various scientifically proven therapeutic methods, including dynamic interpersonal and integrative psychotherapy, EMDR, CBT, ACT, MBT, Mindfulness, and Schema Focused Therapy. Daniela has extensive experience working with anxiety, depression, grief and mourning, trauma issues – PTSD and CPTSD, burnout, relationship difficulties, communication problems, emotional instability, anger issues, and many other psychological difficulties. She helps individuals explore and understand their emotions, behaviours, and relationships with empathy and dedication.

R. Tahan is a 53 years old experienced psychologist. She holds an MSc in Clinical Psychology and is a licensed psychologist. She has worked extensively with clients dealing with psycho-trauma, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression.

Roxana, as a psychologist, combines individual psychotherapy in a safe and intimate setting. The therapeutical process is adapted to each person’s needs, with the focus remaining on the client’s inner feelings.
Her approach offers a deeper understanding of personal history, the complexity of the human being, the dimensions of the self, and of course the therapeutic relationship.
The way she works is suited for sensitive subjects such as trauma, anxiety, depression, burnout, and relational difficulties. Roxana also pays attention to transgenerational trauma. Sometimes, what could not be integrated by one generation: the pain of loss, shame, exclusion, migration, war, or the silent violence within a family, is carried forward by the next generations.

Bianca has been working with internationals for over six years, supporting both individuals in navigating emotional and relational challenges. Her work is grounded in attachment theory and focuses on understanding relational patterns, emotional regulation, and recurring interpersonal difficulties.
She supports clients experiencing relationship distress, communication difficulties, and attachment-related challenges. In individual therapy, she works with clients dealing with anxiety, stress, grief, burnout, relational trauma, and persistent maladaptive patterns.
Bianca combines warmth and attentiveness with focused, systemic questions that help clients gain insight into their patterns. She creates a safe space where clients can explore their emotions, build clarity, and develop more secure and fulfilling ways of relating to themselves and others.
